I’m Joan and the writer behind this blog. I’m a mum to 5 incredible kids aged 20, 15, 13, 6 and 5 as well as a 2 year old puppy cavoodle (as of 2024) and after running multiple businesses, and putting every single family member first, I’m finding I need a space for myself to put all my thoughts down and document my life.

Whilst I love Tiktok (find me there @joancaballero_) and the short format videos, there’s something about reading and writing that I’ll always be in love with.

I love travelling, roller coasters, freshly washed bed sheets, a big bowl of ramen on a cold day, aqua frescas, eating good food and sharing all parts of my life in the hopes that others can laugh, relate or realise that they’re not alone in this game of parenthood.
